Welcome to Botrina's Soap Opera Fan Fiction & Commentary! Back in June 1998, the summer was just beginning, and I had recently discovered “One Life To Live” about four months prior. I loved the character of Todd, so while away on vacation I wrote a short story about his daughter, “Starr.” From there the writing just took off. One of my most ambitious projects was “The OLTL Satire.” It took a look at the happenings behind the scenes of a soap opera. Every week Botrina Buchanan was involved with hijinxs that would keep the reader in stitches. During the Satire's prime, it received rare reviews and it's the most prolific piece of my soap opera fan fiction to date. I don't write a lot of fan fiction for the soaps anymore. The current ones I am updating are “Inferno”, “Circle In The Sand,” “The ATWT Satire” and “Lost.” From time to time I might post an ATWT Spin. And you can always catch SEW Weighs In, the best Soap commentary on the net here. While I still enjoy a good soap, I've moved on to more original projects. Still, the bulk of the fan fiction is phenomenal and you can find of your favorites here on the site! Enjoy! ~Dim. |

I spent my wee years in New England. When I turned 18, I decided I wanted a great adventure and joined the Army. I spent seven years in Europe and got out in 1997. Now I live Southern California, work as a 911 Operator for LAPD, and write my butt off. Recently, I entered the wonderful sorority house of motherhood. Now Baby Dim tries to pull the tricks on me that I tried to pull on my Mommy, but I don't mind. I like: Writing, Reading, Harry Potter, Bastain & Edana, Bowen & Ania (from Starrstuck's OUAT Series), Driving fast on the freeways and Cold Stone Ice Cream. I don't like: Peas. |
